So Queen is dead because Freddie's dead - unless they chose a different singer, and then Queen wouldn't be dead anymore? Is that what you're saying? Because that doesn't make any sense. All you're saying is that you don't like Paul Rodgers. Nuts to that. They got the cosmos rockin' to the mighty power of rock'n'roll.

You people are so ignorant...to start off, I would like to say that this is not Queen. It is not supposed to be Queen. Brian and Roger do not intend for this to sound like Queen. They want it to sound like Queen + Paul Rodgers. AND IT DOES! Real Queen fans would actually listen to what Brian May says, and would be able to comprehend the fact that this is not Queen. It is an entirely new act. Secondly, Paul Rodgers was one of the biggest musical influences in Freddie's life.

i agree. they need to stop acting like it's Queen w/o Freddie. they could make a new band NOT called Queen&Paul Rodgers. Queen was freddie's baby. brian and john and roger should know that. and paul is just insulting to freddie's memory.

this isnt SUPPOSED to be Freddie...i can see where you're coming from with his singing Queen songs, but THIS is Queen + Paul rodgers so dont say "oh freddie should sing it"...it would be like saying paul should be singing killer queen or something...its just stupid so just shut up and let them be who they are

They want to take things in a new direction?? and yet draw crowds in with the old songs? Sing the classics in a totally different voice? You cant have it both ways. Either change the name of the band and sing new only, or find a more suitable voice for the old material (higher pitched) so that when you see Queen it sounds like the old Queen

i agree with the whole changing the name of the band, but they started off with Paul because Freddie admired him so much and they wanted him to fill his shoes because of this...i think Paul is okay for the new frontman, but i agree; they SHOULD consider changing their name

they should change their name but the reason they chose Paul was because freddie admired him a lot as an artist, so they wanted him to be the frontman because of this...but yes, they SHOULD change their name
