The video is not very exciting, being live, but the music has my attention since I was 30. Now I am 64. Heard he died last year. It's a great pity.

"Ghosts" was Dan Fogelberg's loveliest song to me. His guitar solo on it was totally out of this world and unforgettable. Is there a live video of this ? "Empty Cages" was my second favourite. I too, like others mentioned, listened to it for his highly melodic and superb lead guitarwork here, which I never get tired of.

If those who naively brand Dan as a romantic wimp (based primarily on "Longer") would hear his ripping and melodic guitar work HERE, I bet they'd at least BEGIN to expand their narrow minds....

It is still hard to believe he passed. Jeanne has been kind enough to update some photos on Dan's website...there is a great photo and explanation of Dan ice skating (after his dx and treatment). He looks really great in it..even though he was weakened. Take a look. Greg

This is my first time to comment about the loss of DF. What an amazing talent that was never truly recognized and honored. I never had a chance to see one of Dan's concerts in person, so all the videos that have been posted is greatly appreciated. No artist, including Elvis has affected me like the death of Dan. Dan had so many great songs that's its hard to pick a favorite. Those of you that have videos, etc please keep posting. Looking forward to the new album that will be released.

I too want to say thank you for posting this - it makes the loss a little easier to take!

This was the peak too: Dan's high-water mark, when he was everything to everyone for a magical season; except the pretentious Grammy secret society of followers. We appreciate what he was and what he did--most will never know...an unchallenged summation of songs, melodies, harmonies, lyrics, arrangements, musicianship, performance; if all he did was sing songs someone else wrote he would have been great, but that he did it all, at such a young age. Who else did so much in our generation?

It's not fair, you had so much more to share with us. Your band compliments you well and they deserve lots of credits as well. Dayle
