I can tell you these are neither p.scalare or p.altum but actually p.leopoldi you can tell from the spot/small line at the base of the dorsal fin

Yes those look like Pterophyllum Scalare, not Pterophyllum Altum (2 different species). However, there is a breed of Scalare being sold as "Peru-Altum" Pterophyllum Scalare, which these look like young ones. Why, I dunno since Altums come from Venezuela. Anyhow, Great looking fish!

These are no Pt. altum but Pt. scalare. Nice fish anyway.
