Granite Hopping

Back



Just a short demo of my Granite Armor Tanker "jumping" with the help of correctly-angled slopes. Sorry for the freezing and what-not. Considering I was running everything maxed out at 1680x1050 and recording at 840x425, I think it turned out all right for a cheap, short video. Attributions, etc.: Recorded with fraps (obviously, yay watermarks?). Images acquired from City of Heroes, currently owned by NCSoft. Music shamelessly yanked off of Paragonx9 from NewGrounds (no synching attempted, just wanted something to fill it out).

Ya know if you stack 9 IR's you can actually jump on your own! Good Luck finding and organizing that many kins to help you out. Though if you do manage, i'd love to see it.

True, but my intention here was to demonstrate what could be done with a single Kinetics. Eventually I'll compose the myriad of footage I've taken on TF missions to show the locations where the trick actually has value other than "Oh, that's neat." I won't deny that having 9 IRs would indeed be an amusing situation, though. :D

You could have just had a kinetic use Inertial reduction.
