I miss that long strech. Can't blame the drivers for wanting it cut though. 250 mph in pitch black sounds a little tough to me.

The reason they neutered the track is because the drivers asked them to. The drivers themselves were getting a little antsy having to consentrate on driving at 250mph at midnight.
