This will be my 2nd trip to Thailand, and my 1st during high season, so I don't have anything to compare this to. But the hotel I wanted to stay at for late Dec into Jan was fully booked 3 months ago. If that is a sign of a bad high season I guess I need to book a hotel for the next trip soon as I get home from this one! Dec can't come fast enough! One trip was all it took to become an addict, and I need my fix!

i think you will find it a lot quieter,i heard only bad things,the economic situation is stopping a lot of sex tourists going this winter.

I personally don`t think it will change much,not for a year or so.I was talking to a hostess who i keep contact with on the phone and she has been saying for months how dead it is,constantly.She has even resorted to asking me for money,i sadly have my own problems so didn`t oblige her.
