Sony Bravia: Paint - Remastered.

Back

A study that highlights the pivotal role of music in the overall feel of an ad. Here is a proposed improvement that I feel is more in line with the first Bravia ad, both in visual harmony and acoustic melody. The production was definitely impressive and the footage was breathtaking but it lacked the consistency to be a rightful sequel to the Bravia campaign. Here, colour is presented as soothing and spectacular as opposed to philharmonic and abrupt. This is a rough cut to convey the proposed music (and tempo) change. I offer all my respects to the team that brought this spot to fruition.

this piece of music definitely changes the overall mood - its much more ethereal, magical and comforting in a child like sense

Leave the orignial be! By 'remastering' this video as you put it, youre kind of assuming artistic authority over Jonathan Glazer's vision and work. Do you're own stuff, or remarkabley change someone elses to be a proper adaptation.. forget this remastering BS, its all over youtube asnd just sucks so hard. To top it off you wrote the biggest load of BS to go with it - "..both in visual harmony and acoustic melody. " Be original, and let originals be.

although this is a beautiful song, I'd say that Rossini's orchestration worked better for this ad. There is so much dynamics and movements, colors and explosions and classical music suits perfectly here

Hi This commercial is perfect for a control image in some research I am doing. Is there any possibility that I could get a high quality version? Thanks

I didnt like the original ad music either but I dont think this is a good song, it doesnt make me feel at ease like Jose Gonzalez. This singer sounds pretty creepy, like a stalker since its more like a sexually sung lullaby, it would be more appropriate in a scary video.

i really really like such great heights, but i still think the original Lullaby for La Gazza Ladra suits the ad better just for the fact that exploding paint in this ad is not calm it is crazy, sparkling and fast and Lullaby for La Gazza Ladra is all of those 3 things, such great heights is more suitable for the bouncy balls ad. but still its a great song

It was alright... I just don't think the music actually went too well with the whole COLOURFUL EXPLOSION LOLOLOL part of the advert.
