Wilt was faster, had more stamina and was a better defender than Shaq Fundamentally wise. Wise was like a mix of Hakeem and Shaq just not as talented offensively as any of them but better than both in all the other categories except Steals on Hakeem and ofcourse FT Shooting.

Aceroy....Wilt was a dominant 2 way center.....but against whom I ask? Mostly defence 1st centers who scoring was secondary until he faced Jabbar. Hakeem was better than Wilt defensively....more range on the court defensively, and a rare center that could race from the offensive back to defence to block people. Rebounding? Dream won reb titles. We can't compare rebounding numbers in the 60s to Hakeems era w/o a 3 pt. line and athleticism not at it's peak yet across the board league wise.

They should've shown Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill sitting courtside. ZZ Top were the Houston version of Nicholson and Dyan Cannon.

Oh yeah, you're the Shaq guy. Shaq who couldn't hit FT's. How can he be called the greatest when in the last 2 minutes of big games you can't even pass him the ball. No rebounding titles. Hakeem had 3. Never won a shotblocking title either. Hakeem had many. And Hakeem scored slightly better in the post-season than Shaq or any other center ever did. Oh yeah and lets not speak of Shaq's weight issues too, lol.

so what if hes FT's are bad,big deal, hakkem didn't avg that much rebounds then shaq, tho shaq avg more in finals then hakkem did hakkem ever avg a 38 ppg and 17rpg?
FuShengAlex (Friday 5th of September 2008 09:27:56 PM)
38ppg and 17rpg? Against who? 1 dimensional Dikembe and diseased Macullouch, lol? C'mon man. Hakeem went against the Celts in a Finals. Ewing in another, and Shaq in '95. See the difference in calibre of opponents and why Hakeem ain't had no 38ppg-17rpg avg.

...and shaq admitted after the '95 finals. the dream is the best center ever.
