9mm is normal for most sub-machine-guns. Of course it's weaker then ARs etc. But it's normal caliber for SMG. UZI is big ? Well, it's only 250mm lenght. For example, H&K Mk.23 is 245mm lenght. Maybe uzi is heavy or "fat'', but it's used so in Israel (watch military israel photos) in different variations incuding Micro Uzi Para with better ergonomics and Glock 18 magazines. What about recoil - people shoot with Glock 18 with one hand... some can't do same even with large and heavy SMGs.

The mark 23 is an engagement sidearm, with a 6 inch barrel, not used for concealed carry. The Micro Uzi is heavier, and its recoil control is terrible for a 9mm. Its sight radius is way too high, and the action is very heavy. And the Israeli military does not carry the UZI concealed, they use is as an SMG. I've also shot the UZI pro (same as para micro uzi), its used by CT units, the only real difference is that the cocking lever is on the side of the frame, not the top; same shitty handling.

Firstly, You were the one who attached the negative connotation(I wonder why) and second the Uzi is CRAP! It has shit accuracy when full auto and only fires a 9mm!
