Policy Change Following Pregnancy Pact

The school board in Gloucester, Mass. Has voted to allow contraceptives to be passed out, with parental consent. This new rule comes after 17 girls at Gloucester High School became pregnant last year in a so-called pregnancy pact. (Oct. 9)

They shouldn't have to have parental consent. How many sexually active kids are going to go to their parents and ask for permission to get contraceptives and basically admit that they're having sex? They'll just pass on the whole thing and have unprotected sex.

This was more lack of guidance, not lack of contraceptives- even if it was readily available at school.

This is what Americans are concerned with? Of course they should distribute contraceptives. Now how about addressing homelessness and drug addiction.
