I watched this film years ago and liked but, but have to say I think this trailer's piss poorly constructed. The fuck is with that music?

It's a terrible, ignorant version of an amazing and complex comic. Robbie Coltrane should have played Abberline, and all due respect to Depp, who is a good actor, Abberline was turned from a hard working policeman. Into clairvoyant, opium, absinthe addict. Heather Graham played Mary Kelly in a horribly fanciful and inaccurate way - in relation to the comic. Very unfaithful, and terrible adaption, in my opinion. I love ripperology and the From Hell comic; felt this was a disdainful attempt.
