Saw Levon and his band just a couple weeks ago at The Ryman, O.M.G! What a treat! A life changing experience! Opened with 'Ophelia', encored with 'The Weight'! Steve Earl, Sheryl Crowe, Robert Plant, Allison Krous, Delbert McClinton, so on and so on. WOW, what a gift from GOD a man like Levon is! What a talent and pure, open channel for art these guys are!

Nope, you're not. I generally like bands with a harder edge to them, but a group like The Band comes around once in a lifetime, if you're lucky. More people need to discover these guys.

did anyone here hear panic at the disco cover this song? i understand some of y'all might not be fans of panic at the disco, but they really did an excellent job.

Yes!!!The cover by Panic at the Disco is great!!! My 13 year old son is in a band and it's so cool when they can actually play this old stuff...and they LOVE it! I wouldn't know Panic at the disco if it wasn't for my son...they do a great job!!!

Levon said "Rick's mike is too hot " -0:59 or something to that nature , Rick's vocals are too loud in the mix . I love it anyway .

Thanks for your answer. That's what he really seems to be saying to some roadie, and Rick is also trying to do some eye contact with the guy just before that (right after singing the chorus for the first time).
