So glad you enjoyed the clip. Never charging is the essence of a great teacher & guru. I actually have the full programme on disc at home. It was braodcast on UK's Channel 4 many years ago. Nick

I learned carnatic music from Gowri Kuppuswamy for 8 years. I had not seen her in over 40 years! I was blown away when I found this video on you tube. She is a very talented musician and a great teacher. By the way, she taught music to hundreds of us over the years and never charged for the lessons!
