This is "Cantata Sopra Il Passacaglio. Diatonica" by Luigi Pozzi, which is available on "All' improvviso" by Arpeggiata, but unfortunately with another singer who has a lower and much greatless voice. If you know of a recording of this song by Jaroussky commercially available, please let me know :-)

What on earth is the clarinet doing there? I pity the poor musicians who have to earn their livelyhood like this. Close your ears and think of the money!

Stupendous ... emotion distilled into musical notes. What is the music? It sounds Monteverdi-ish, & there are a couple of passages which seem to echo M's 'Lamento della Ninfa'.
