I think Sarah has a way better voice then Avril but there's something about how Avril sings it that just touches me. I still love Sarah singing it more though.

and the point of you posting on here is...? and looking at it objectively, Sarah Mclachlan has better control of her voice. Avril Lavigne tends to go just a little flat.

lol, are you for real? Avril is a tailored made hack. Not unlike Britney Spears, she didn't earn her way to fame but was recruited and marketed like a can of Pepsi. Designed as the "anti-Britney", she was created to exploit the teen market that Spears didn't cover. Please see thru the surface of things and look a little deeper, hmmm? I hate when people disregard talent for fluff.
