Kudos to you Sir, for pointing out injustice and lawlessness in the Tennessee mountains. These yahoos with badges need to have their antics filmed more often. Glad you were exonerated.

I was going to take the wife for a weekend drive to see the fall colors in this area but after seeing this video, no way. I will take my tourist dollars elsewhere. I don't need to be harrassed by a over whelming presence of law enforcement attempting to generate revenue by issuing petty citations. Place reminds of a visit to East Berlin in 1980. Being watched and harrased at every turn.

Your an idiot, YOUR putting peoples lives in danger driving with a video camera in your hand. Whether the law states it or not, you are being distracted by looking around with your video camera to video the police instead of paying attention to the road!!... If you had someone else in the car video taking then that would be great, but your a damn fool and a moron!!!

easy there fredo, just because it's his job dosn't make a fact he will be calm and polite, i think most people realize that an officer can have about any attitude he wants to. I'm just giving him cudos for being professional, regardless of how legit the ticet maybe. albeit the whole situation out there is rather redicules though. Our governer in IL wants to do away with a volunteer group that helps bring in around 230 million of toursim for.......well i imagine he's working on a good reason

Dude, seriously stop being a dick to the cop. He is doing his job, and you did seem a bit distracted by panning the camera to view where all the police officers sat. You were in the wrong, hope that was a lesson took to heart.

Perhaps the freakish numbers of police cars were the real distraction which should be dealt with. The area has poor cell phone coverage and is somewhat dangerous, but the ratio of police to other emergency vehicles is WAY out of whack.

Deal's Gap and the Dragon is the same thing, idiot. Plus, there's been like 12 deaths since '95. Maybe you should think before you post, hmm?

I'm actually impressed with how patient the police are in this video. Recently here in PA, a teen videography student was placed under arrest and charged with felony wiretapping charges because he videotaped a police officer while he was being stopped. Anyway, how did you make out in court, dragon?
