God, we Americans really are stupid. Name one worthwhile show the FOX network had back in '96, aside from the X-Files and the Simpsons. It's a shame the BBC never made a series with McGann. Eccleston and Tennant are both fantastic, but McGann definitely gave the Doctor a much more gentle touch than either of them had. Understandable, considering they both came after the Time War, which would have hardened the character, but still. McGann was a pleasure to watch as the Doctor.

Kind of funny that the number of British viewers for the movie was in the millions - namely nine millions... and that it was one of the highest rated made for TV movies in Britain of the year. Gotta love those stupid Americans ;)
