I don't get it. What's wrong with showing your license if caught speeding? At a random roadblock you shouldn't have to show it but this is different. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a highway if unlicensed people were allowed to drive, and that would happen if cops couldn't ask for a license when stopping you. Yes common law means you can use the roads but not operate heavy machinery (vehicles)on them, that part is the privilege. Would you want unlicensed truckers on the highway?

The government does not allow freedom of competition in the construction of roads, in the production of vehicles, in the distribution of licenses, in the police force, or in the courts. Every single aspect of social life related to what happened in this video was regulated by the government, and enforced through violence.
The solution to your questions is not to violently kidnap and hold people behind bars, while stealing their vehicles. It is to allow competition.

By allowing competition in at least the area of road building and licensing vehicles, we would have markets for people who wanted to have licenses and drive on roads only with licensed people, and vice versa, with no licenses.
That way, obtaining a license and driving on a licensed road is a purely voluntary and non-coercive decision each individual undertakes themselves.
Forcing everyone to adhere to the same laws and social contract through violence, is immoral. Look up voluntaryism.

for a very long time we have been indoctrinated to believe that to travel around this country we need permission. I understand why you would be opposed to people driving w/o paperwork. I thought the same thing for a while. But a free people do not need permission to travel. which is what for a time we did in this country

You are clearly not too bright. She doesn't hate NH, she's displaying the balls to stand up for OUR rights; rights that are being stripped away on an almost daily basis. It's people like you with your unquestioning compliance who allow the government to keep us from truly being free. I think YOU should leave NH, fool.

Hand on a holstered weapon is not a threat. BUT, He should have been allowed to do the same thing.
AnarchyInYourHead (Tuesday 20th of May 2008 11:05:39 AM)
It's not an overt threat, of course, but it is not a very tactful thing to do. It understandably makes people uneasy.

How long should Lauren be in jail for not having government papers?

Hi Menno: "Vitruvian" was taken, so I chose this name instead.
