I am a hard working Obama volunteer because this economy is a mess everywhere. Because we have had 12yrs of trickle down that hasn't worked. Because I work in university research that would be shut down by the anti-science McCain/Palin ticket. Because I want the war in Iraq to end and Bin Laden caught then punished. I want my country proud and strong not broken like the terrorist want. They don't have to attack us we did a fine job of runining this country.

If you are voting for McCain then you are NOT a democrat. McCain & Palin want to get rid of Roe V Wade. McCain has never supported Womens issues. Palin made women pay for their own rape kits and signed the law to kill wolves & bears from airplanes and then hunted down the pups in their dens to kill them. She is about destroying the environment and is anti science. So you are a Republican turncoat.

Just to clear it up Republicans have run the government for 12 years even while Clinton was President they held everything else. It is not a Democratic Congress they do not hold the majority in the Senate. The Republicans have stopped legislation to make Dems look bad. So yes it is Bush and Trickle down economics that caused this mess.

American women vote Democratic in significantly greater numbers than men -- if we weren't able to vote, McCain would have much better poll numbers than he does now. Take that, foreign guy who misspelled "proves"!

Any Clinton supporter who would vote for McCain/Palin out of spite obviously doesn't care where Hillary and Barack are when it comes to actual policy. It's hard for me to imagine, let alone believe, that people could be such sore losers as to throw their vote behind people who are so different policy-wise from the candidate they wish were now the Democratic Presidential candidate.

Yes, and you are a fucking retard. You're voting against your morals because *you claim* Obama is not experienced enough. But the fact is that Biden's/Obama's experience > McCain/Palin's experience. The REAL reason you are not voting for Obama is because either a.) You're a sexist voting against Obama cause you feel he "held the woman down" or b) You're a racist who would never vote for a black person. You are proud, yes. But is it good to be stupid and proud? The bottom line, regardless of the specific people responsible, is that DEREGULATION has caused our financial problems. ALLOWING OIL SPECULATION = DEREGULATION. ALLOWING RECKLESS LENDING THAT WAS PROHIBITED BEFORE = DEREGULATION. And of course, the REAL bottom line is this: DEREGULAION IS FUNDAMENTALLY A REPUBLICAN IDEAL! It is the REPUBLICAN ideal of DEREGULATION that is to blame. NEO-CONSERVATISM and TRICKLE-DOWN THEORY has FAILED us. Time for a new theory. That's just how it is.
