He never beat Daryl Hannah. In fact, Browne called the police (911)when Hannah was acting "crazy." In the police report, the police officer's wrote that Hannah was found "aggitated but uninjured." Later, in a book written by JFK Jr., he stated that Hannah could drive someone to want to hit her, but was told by Daryl Hannah that Jackson Browne had never hit her.

I dont blame him I would sue also, but who cares what political party Jackson Browne or any other entertainer supports. We are strong minded people we can make our own decisions, but it is kind of sad with an unpopular war, high oil prices, a sloping economy you would thing the Democrats would be a shoe in for the white house in truth they will probably lose, McCain will probably walk in. I guess American doesnt lean that far to the Left with Mr. Browne.

While I agree that the song should not have been used, Mr. Browne has no case against the McCain campaign. The Campaign did not run the ad. The Ohio Republican Party did. That is a separate entity from the McCain campaign and they did not receive approval from McCain or his campaign before they ran the ad. Mr. Browne needs to sue the Ohio Republican Party, not McCain.
