If you're referring to the video, I believe you're mistaken - I'm rather certain that he's playing a Fender Precision Bass - much like the one Jamerson himself played. The Variax pickguard is a different shape, for one. Also, I've not seen a Variax with a pickup cover. .rai//

you have the best tone in the world really like jamersons. what do you put under the strings to mute them? is it a peice of foam or sponge?
