Mods and scooters from San Luis Obispo circa 1992. Please note - I did not make this video, it was emailed to me by a friend. I posted it here originally to show another friend who is in it, and because lots of the folks I grew up with and still ride with are in it. I don't care what you think about American Mods, I'm a gearhead/scooterboy anyways. what I can say is that 15+ years ago, when they were in highschool, these guys built tight bikes that they rode year round, so stick that in your creepers and smoke it.

The main point is that we all like the same things, the music, the scooters & the clothes, does it really matter where the hell you come from. Especially in the revival period. It wasnt English, it was British and then....global...with special thanks to the Italians for their Scooters

only John and George were Mods in the Beatles, John had one of the best collection of Mod records around at the time! the closest they got (musically) to Mod was "Paperback Writer" or "Taxman" imho. plus, its weird that when ppl from Germany, Spain, Peru say that they are Mods - its cool, but as soon as an American says it - ppl get all bent outa shape over it! ??? in the 60's they had alot of them but this vid didnt really capture the mod. a mod is basicly a guy whos u kno a suit but he still looks like he can kick ur ass. and they werent really rich

Mods are mods were ever ya come from! Global mod revival be ace. Mod rules! You always have to allow for some changes though or Mod would be a self defeating concept in a sense!

Cheers mate, great vid. i grew up around mod's an Scooter boys an still love the music an the look. Cant wait till i can aford to buy my scooter!
