I love judo dont get me wrong, But i believe, and its my opinion, that nowadays you need to be well rounded. This is a great sport too and i have respect for anyone dedicated to it.

This must be a joke , learn martial art history before you make comment. Judo branched out of jiu jitsu , Jigoro Kano created Judo from jiu jitsu.

A well roundede fighter knows both gi and no gi. We dont train for only MMA but in the streets and real world people dont wear board shorts and rash guards. People wear clothes in bars and nightclubs. Think about it, a well rounded grappler should be effective in both.

fedor beet nog, eddie beet royler. the reason there are so much high quality grapplers that train with a gi is because almost ALL grapplers train with a gi, thus giving them a much higher chance to have good people.

Fedor trained/trains with the sambo uniform, which is essentially a thong and a gi jacket. Eddie trained in a gi for most of his training career and still wears gi pants (and hasn't competed since the Royler match).
