There were some heavy religious overtones in this ep. Princess gets crucified and rejects ancestor worship at the end. Made me notice for the first time that Voltron has a cross on his chest and that a blazing sword is the defender of the Garden of Eden after the fall.

blame the writers and the people who edited this. in the Goldion King of Beasts show which by the way Voltron was edited into. people died left and right. planets were blow up and slaves or people that crossed Zarkon got made into blood wine or dinner.
