BackI just got this new program that lets you take electronic instruments and make songs/beats out of them. So I made this song =D It's only partly done, but I'm going to finish it soon and hopefully make another vid of the finished one.

they should come with the modplug tracker download

they are not modplug instruments, they are part of the windows operating system, to be exact of the file "GM.DLS" which keeps the instrument of MIDI playback. That's called a "soundfont". ModPlug can load soundfonts and you are able to use those samples. So yorgan007, all you have to do is to open the "GM.DLS" in the treeview on the right.

To make a hard hitting drop bass: Take a sine wave, load it into sample, then go to instrument and enable the pitch envelope or PTCH in modplug. Click on the squiggly line, which allows you to edit your range. You should see two boxes. Drag the left one all the way to the top, then, put the other one near the bottom. this will give the sine wave a 'drop' sound when it's triggered. Best recommended for anything C2 and below.
If you need help with music, friend me or add me on .
