Tibet was never a part of China. Tibet isolated itself from the rest of the world, until China occupied the nation in the 1950s.

nov 18 thestar com Dalai Lama and his followers should get over it. They should recorgnize China's sovereignty over Tibet. Tibet is not a case like small East Europe countries, nor it is like HongKong and Taiwan. Dalai lost two wars with China since 1950 (one with the help from CIA). He should ask his followers to move forward to 21th century.
