Coppola's Dracula--RARELY seen teaser
BackThe original TEASER trailer for Bram Stoker's Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola. This is the controversial clip from Columbia Pictures that was pulled from American screens soon after its release for being "too bloody" and has been hard to find ever since (until recently it wasn't included on the DVDs). It also explains the origin of the film's tagline "BEWARE". If you love this film as much as I do, then I hope you'll appreciate how hard this clip was to find for the boys at Movie-List.com. Enjoy!

Coppala is one of the best film makers of all time, but Dracula looks stupid in this film.

The movie and the book are different. But I like both. Even with the huge sex fictation and the clearly american accents in Great Britain. In the book, Mina had no contact with Dracula, except seeing him as a monster bat in Lucy's grave. In the movie, she's Elisabeta reborn and his lover..... Still good movie.

There's some very very Very subtle sexual innuendo betwen Dracula and Mina in the Book in the scene in the Dr. Seward Sanitarium bedroom, where it's more a fact of showing the power of Vampires over the most pure of persons(as Mina is much more innocent in the book) than an actual mutual attraction, but apart from that she's constantlly showing her hate for the loathsome and unholy creature Dracula is.

If you've ever read the book, then you will know that Coppola's version of Dracula is nothing but an idiotic love story with Mina (Ryder) as the reincarnated Princess Elisabetta. The book and the movie are poles apart. The acting is on a high school level at best and the accents sure aren't British.

Beat its precedences by a mile, but special effects and the acting is (especially the fake accent) are mediocre at best. Hope a remake is coming soon. Like what The Dark Knight did for Batman.

I'm pretty sure he only means Godfather 3, not the first two!
