She had such maturity as a singer then that it does impart that illusion. She was a real talent and only Amy Grant comes to mind back then as a very young artist who had firm control of their craft.

Gadfry! This only reminds me of when the college's Sony projector bigscreen (exposed 3 CRTs focused on a curved screen attached to the set) was not converged correctly. 90s AV moment but that's why I have my own vintage CRT projectors! 3D CeCe...WHEE!
