i agree! most guys don't even think about what we as girls have to go through. Being 17 and going through the hardest year of my life, this song has really put things that i'm feeling into words and it's helped me a lot and i just wish that more guys could understand

i can totally relate to this song!
This song should relate to all girls any age, cause girls are presured to be skinny, tall and beautiful EVERY stinkin day of their lives!
We should all be happy with the way we are, but i know, we just can't do that very easily.
Body Peace Babes!

I'm not 17 anymore..i'm almost 23 with 2 little girls of my own, but i can still relate to certain parts of this song..especially the chorus.

Its so nice that have a male artist sing about something like this and real girsl rather than feature a half-naked model.

I heard this song this morning on the radio, I had almost forgotten it existed.....being a Christian myself and battling an eating disorder most of my life it was just what I needed to hear to remind me of what really is important in life!!

Exactly!. I recently read an interview with Jane Fonda about her life and coming to faith in God and Jesus. She said candidly that during her early years she had bulemia and during the "workout video" phase she had a compulsive addiction to aerobics. She was raised atheist by her strict father. Body disorders occur everywhere, in all ethnic groups and religions. I have always believed that my body is there to get my soul around. But, yeah, I should take this body to get frequent tune-ups!
