Ummah Films - The Parent Negotiations
BackPLEASE RATE & COMMENT SO I KNOW YOUR WATCHING Ummah Films Once you find the person to marry, then you notify your parents. Sometimes, there is drama involved, sometimes there isn't. This video is about all the back and forth negotiations one goes through when dealing with their parents about marriage. Its usually an issue when the parents and their kids have completely different views of marriage. I think many young people who are going through the process can totally relate to this video.

I'm sure that's what he meant. At most mosques, men and women eat in different areas, but of course, are allowed to talk to each other. This is social hijab that keeps the dignity of both women and men. He's implying the same thing im sure, he just doesnt want women and men mingling completely. And many times for weddings, the women have their own "pre-wedding" party, where they can dress up without the men there. That is, many times, the funnest part

It matters the extent of mixing. I'm sure weddings can be mixed if they hold the same dignity as a religious event (which are also mixed in the mosque) but if the men and women start dancing or flirting, this is of course, not allowed.
