LPG Conversion West Sussex Arun Autogas Gascarco BEWARE

I had a bad experience when my car was converted to LPG by Arun Autogas. The LPG system they installed runs well, as long as you carry a rubber mallet to hit the tank and unstick the tank sensor when it sticks in the full position every third or fourth fill. My problem is that I picked the car up in a hurry and did not notice multiple areas of (admittedly minor) damage and missing trim. It is my opinion that a piece of trim had been removed and refitted poorly, so it fell off during their test driving. The rear bumper and sensors had been damaged, it is my opinion that the car had been reversed into a wall, a slow parking accident, resulting in linear crazing of bumper paint and a pushed in parking sensor. These have now been rectified by me, at my expense. The owner of the workshop, or I think he was the owner, changed from very friendly, to aggressive and unpleasant as soon as I made him aware of the areas of damage. I was made to feel very uncomfortable as he brought in other staff to tell me I was wrong and that trim and damage was present when I delivered the vehicle to them, and that I was lying. I was told that they do not do markup sheets, like most other garages, for cars of my vintage (2002), as they might offend, by noting too many areas of damage I will not be going back to Arun Autogas / GasCarCo, and I would not recommend that others consider using them for LPG conversions in the future. My primary concern was the sudden change from caring customer service to aggressive, threatening and dismissive. The car was not in my opinion, damaged before it was entrusted to Arun Autogas.

i am planing to convert my car to lpg but i would not use arun autogas thank you for leting me know and i hope if others have similar experience to put it on the net so people like me can see and benefit from it .
