Oh god James Hetfield screwing up a classic song. Old Mettallica is great, but they are washed up sell outs with no real talent now.

come on this is just a cover, i like metallica as hell, and i like garbage as hell, believe or not. they are way to diferent, this is just a version of that great song.i bet that YOUR version of it is worst than this, so dont be hard on this xD

Shirley is the original ,she's great and unrepeatable but Metallica are great too. I have to admit that this is a really good band even if I don't like it.

I fell in love with this cover when I just heard the first sounds. They made it more melancholic and calm than Garbage. The original one is much derisive and bitchy. I wouldn't compare these both variants because Metallica played this song as if it was their own one. That is Metallica's feature.

Watch woman doing cover of Nothing Else Matters, you get the point. They put some sort of weird felling into it and it just sound fake to me. With James' voice I can feel the flames bite...

obviously Garbage version is better (sorry, is that I love Shirley) but it was a very cool version, I like it too
