His Holiness Terchen Nyima Drakpa is the Treasure Revealer of Nyingma Nyidrak Dzogchen (Great Perfection or Atiyoga). HH is the manifestation of Avalokitesvara. In his previous lives, HH appeared as Arhat Lodro Drakpo, one of the foremost disciples of Shakyiamuni Buddha and as Luye Wangpo also a main disciple of Guru Rinpoche. It was written in the Tantras that HH will appear as the 40th Buddha, as Buddha Drakpo Chenpo for the benefit of all mother sentient beings. In October 2007, HH visited one of his many monasteries,Sog Rong Tsawa Nyidrak monastery in Sim Zhong mountain, which is on the outskirts of Lhasa.
