Keith Olbermann | There Is Fascism, Indeed

Back

Keith Olbermann says: "The confusion is about whether this secretary of defense, and this administration, are in fact now accomplishing what they claim the terrorists seek: the destruction of our freedoms, the very ones for which the same veterans Mr. Rumsfeld addressed yesterday in Salt Lake City so valiantly fought. And about Mr. Rumsfeld's other main assertion, that this country faces a 'new type of fascism.' As he was correct to remind us how a government that knew everything could get everything wrong, so too was he right when he said that, though probably not in the way he thought he meant it. This country faces a new type of fascism - indeed."

Amen keith. However, i feel not as much blame is to be put on our current president or gov't, as it is the federal reserve and world banks. He who controls currency, controls the world. They're doing a damn good job of it too. THERE WILL BE another world war soon. Not between countries, but the citizens of the world (who belive in freedom and citizenship) against the tyranical banks. Dark days are ahead, who's side are u on?

its funny. This was from before he got big and I think he's actually better than he is now. He's more serious and poignant and less humorous. I like.

Keith Olbermann wouldn't know fascism if it nested in his schnoz. Fascism is left-wing, centralized government, I thought he liked that stuff!

Its too bad that America is so fawked, funny how things can change so much in such a small period of time. I hope that my American brothers will get their heads out of the sand and see whats going on.

Keith is the only reporter I respect, and in some cases Tucker Carlson for having the guts to put on Ron Paul.

Thank you. What I've been trying to say since 1999. Except I get hysterical about it!

Have you no sense of decency, Mr. Rumsfield, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?
