A word of warning, while I do think Jiffy Lube is the worst offender of fraud and crappy service they are certainly not the only one. Many shops private or franchise can give lousy to no service for too much money. It's best to shop around and ask questions of managers and friends who have had service there. Know exactly what you are getting before you sign. Ask if you can watch the service being performed. If they seem hesitant or push for extras, find someone else.

The owners are cheap and both they and the corporation push for impossible service times. I wanted to manually torque the tires at the end of tire rotations but the district manager wouldn't allow it. It gets worse all the time as new cars are harder to work on. I sometimes wonder what those engineers are smoking. Also I don't think we know enough nor our equipment actually does the job in anything except gearbox service and oil changes. I became very efficient but not any more skilled.

Having previously I think the problem is in the training and pay. Jiffy Lube hires anyone and gives poor training that consists of staring at a computer for a couple of days. They want to work that place like Mcdonalds (I've worked there too) and it just doesn't work with peoples cars. When you get employees who are frustrated by problems they don't have the answer to at near minimum wage, they eventually stop caring. Even if the employees care it's not always the best service...

FUCK!!!! they deserve to get shut down , good thing i know about cars people ,learn how to change oil and dont trust these low lifes , LADIES ill change your oil for free 4 sexy time and well use the other jiffy lube lmao.

I will never go to "Jiffy Screw". I dont like the way they make you wait in a waiting room away from your car....who the hell knows what they are doing to your car. I go to VALVOLINE oil change places. You can at least stay with your car.

One time when I went there in Anaheim they stole my horn! I told my dad my horn wasn't working and he looked under my hood and said it was gone. This was shortly after they worked on my car. I wonder if they ever did anything they were supposed to do. Never going to any of them ever again and I'm marking all the parts on my car that will be worked on before I take it anywhere.

I was a regular customer of Jiffy Lube. I will never go there again. I've had strange incidents when I take my car in because I don't ever buy all their 'extras'. Jiffy Lube on the corner of Pico and Cloverfield should also be investigated. Never again. I or my mechanic or another service will do it.
