Some of you guys are forgetting about what the song is about. Jesus bled for our sins. If you don't believe it, that's your call. If you do, then this song will say a lot to you. But lets not continue the religious arguments. Whatever you believe a man did die, its up to you if he dies in vain or not.

I am an anti-theist not because of quotes but because I did research in to the beginnings of religion. Most religions have a common root which they stem from, Sun Worship. Thats why Jesus has a halo in most paintings to instil that idea in people. That is also why Easter is at the time of the year it is, The Spring equinox and Xmas is 3 days after the Winter Solstice. What I say to Christians is to research or ask their pastor why the Easter bunny and hiding eggs is in their Easter tradition.

(Proverbs 1:7) The Creator does have a certain thing about His purpose... :) But ah, what love - LOVE - to make it so that there is a choice - not ROBOTS - but real live thinking beings... who can reject Him or turn to Him, and hang with Him FOREVER. And dig His creation - even fallen, but knowing... what it was and what it will be. You're in pretty good shape - cold is better than lukewarm...

The God of O.T and God of New testament are ONE and that is JESUS,who become a person to offer His life and be crucified on that cross for all who believed in HIm and to reach and snatch you out from devils hands,because He has full of love,and compassion not wanting anyone to go to hell.that is the character of GOD who gave u life which you're enjoying right at this time.
