Kill ratios are calculated from 1 on 1 engagements only. Doubling the numbers would have the effect of a factor of 4 on the kill-ratio, so from an economic standpoing the two platforms are equally viable. Also you cannot assume the Tranche3 will have that much of an improved kill rate. Also the price will be much increased.

Tranche 3 is going to have 3edvectorthrusting buddy ( probably it will if shitty EU-ministers decide to spend some money..)there will be no more agile plane in the world if that happens... It will kill everything in WVR-fights, though it will be inferior to the raptor in BVR...

-"Tranche 3 is going to have 3d tvc" The full-blown T3 isn't at all a certainty anymore. In case you hadn't noticed, the whole world is in a recession. In terms of flyaway costs, the EF is already a mediocre "deal" compared to its counterparts. Add the AESA, TVC and upgraded engines, and its unit cost will easily exceed that of even the F-22. The entire EF fleet will be lucky to get the AESA--something it needs FAR more than TVC if it hopes to remain relevant in today's fighter market.

sorrz mate but the eurofighter is beeter i mean its faster it has got two engines so even if one of them is lost in a dogfight the other one is still runing unlike the j 10 with only has 1 engine.. also its got better weapons etc j 10 is a mixture of f 16 and the ef200 which didnt quite work out..
