I'd want the hand without an asthetic cover and would want it to look robotic. Some covering to protect the mechanism though. If kids got scared, maybe I'd change... maybe

I'm not sure what you mean. 1. Futurism is a political and artistic movement and is entirely irrelevant. 2. Bulky and unethical? How is an attempt to advance prosthetics unethical? I doubt that Claudia Mitchel would agre with you on this point. 3. Future of robots? While both bionics and robotics share common ground, it's hardly a matter for concern.
