Point one, before he killed himself he had openly talked in interviews about being happier than he had ever been, despite the heroin, I believe it allowed him to feel apathy and therefore cope with people better, point two, I love the Foo's but Dave Grohl would NEVER have been a star in his own right if Kurt had lived, point three, he was DESPERATE to play with other musicians and leave Nirvana...think about it...
