this is a poem...and a real good,deep one...not merely another song...very well written...they dont write like this...this is very very beautiful...so much in touch with reality...open to interpretation...a real poem

Damn it when's he going to be playing in America? I want to see him so badly. My mom saw him perform this in an auditorium in Greenwich Village back in 1971. Sometimes I wish I was born forty years earlier..

i saw don mclean in hull uk of all godforsaken places 1998 i was so broke i borrowed the 8 pound to buy the ticket, i had to walk the 5 miles to and from the venue couldnt afford to go in the bar in the interval, didnt even have 20 pence to get the opera glasses out of their holder .but i wish i was there right NOW
