This so exciting! For those who may be confused, OpenSim means we can host our own virtual world on our own servers giving us more control. Instead of having to go one main server hub, in this case Linden Labs, we can choose or run our own. For example, if I want to start my own world, I can advertise it and have people with similar interests connect their worlds to mine. Avatars who join our group could then have access or we could make it public access. I hope I said this all correctly.

Yeah, I'm confused about what OpenSIM actually is. So, I can't say "Wow. That's cool." until someone actually eplains what is it in detail. :P
