Look dude! Syd was not 'here' with us,meaning the band! He couldn't comunicate,he was in a world of his own! You obviously don't really know much about the demise of Syd or what happened! So maybe go look it up and get educated on it instead of banging on on what you think happened! Regards!

Do some homework dickweed. Royaties were only paid for his own songs. Apart from the guilt ridden Gilmore producing Syd's solo stuff and forever moaning about how difficult it was, the band NEVER even visited him for the rest of his life. Hope for your sake you have real freinds.

totally agree! Syd's songwriting can't be achieved by neither Waters nor Gilmour as far as I am concerned!

You talk about them backstabbing Syd, but Sys's mind was pretty much gone by the time they kicked hiom out of the band. Throughout Syd's life, they continued to pay him royalties on ALL pink Floyd material, not just what he produced. RIP Syd and Richard.

i love they're evolution, and how they were ANOTHER band by '71. they even changed their instruments... for instanse, roger began using fender p-basses, and david, strats.

Roger Waters has a massive ego and could'nt compete with the genius of Syd. So he got rid of his so called friend when he was most vulnerable and brought in the boring and equally backstabbing Gilmore. Look at the state of them now. They say what goes around comes around. Hope they enjoy their blood money.

Thats the bad thing about the internet - it gives every person with a PC and an internet connection the opportunity to give their worthless and usually totally wrong opinion on things they clearly know nothing about.
