For those saying that the stallion knew of the foal's injury, and simply put it out of its misery for the foal's benifit you are wrong. It all sounds plausable, but there are facts that contradict that. The reason for the attack was clearly the fact it was not his foal by the smell of the other stallion and other mare on the foal. Another reason for the theory to be incorrect is that horses are smart, but they do not have the sence that killing it would help

I love horses, and choose this video for a smile and was horified at what I just witnessed. I curse the person who uploaded this. There should be a warning on this video for animal lovers.

Wrong. LookingGlass killed the foal, because he knew something was wrong with its back legs. LookingGlass just put it out of its misery.

I love horses ALOT and what I see here in this video makes me cry.. The Stallion LookingGlass knew there was something wrong with the foal and nothing could be done to help the foal, the mares encouraged the foal to get up but the foal could not. The foal has been on the ground for hours unable to get up for some unknown reason, as herd stallion it was his job to ensure the herds safety and keep the herd moving on a never ending journey. Mercy Killing. What the mares could not do he did
