His intent is to give his readers a true depiction of what cancer, and its treatment, is really like. "I've had pretty much had every treatment/drug out there," says Wilhelm. I was biopsed 6-22-06, diagnosed with prostate cancer and the urologist pressed me to undergo a robotic radical prostatectomy. I demurred, instead opting for Active Objectified Surveillance. I put together a diet, with help from other PCa survivors (via the InterNet) and, 13 months later my 2nd biopsy showed no cancer. American doctors are far too quick to: 1. prescribe drugs; 2. try to push operations on their patients; 3. try to push chemo and/or radiation treatments on their patients.

American Cancer Society claims the cancer rate is now 1 out of 2 -- skin, breast, and prostate... What they don't mention is that modern research shows ginger, clove, cinnamon, and many other traditional medicines kill cancer cells on contact -- look it up!

I had one of my employees and a good friend die of it in Sept. of 07. He was 28. Don't take youth as an excuse not to get checked early!

Films such as this should be produced according to different places and cultures. I had my prostate removed because of localized cancer and I am working on a male health awareness project for men in my area of the country. Yamil Dutra Gramado-RS Brazil

as the wife of a prostate cancer survivor, I'm glad to see some push for detection. Men need to be aware of the exam to help diagnose and or treat prostate cancer. It is a life threatening disease. Please get your psa checked and save your life

Sorry to hear about your husband, how old was he, and do you remember his PSA number? I'm dealing with this issue now, and am interested in any and all information I can find about it. Thanks, and I understand if you don't reply.
