Actually the show was filmed in Roslyn, Washington. I didn't know that at the time; until i went on a tour of the town. There i met Happy Jack, who sometimes appeared on the show.

I don't see the running of the bulls in here. Or the one where Chris makes that Northern Lights sculpture. But I'm new to surfing YouTube. Someone tell me otherwise.

What a top show this was. I think it influenced me a lot at school years. I wanted to make a seachange like Fleischman did. Wanted to be a cool DJ and all philosophical like Chris. Started liking girls with short hair like Maggie. But of course had the hots for Shelly (that lucky old bugger!). It had so many really "out there" episodes. Was such a good show to grow with the characters to. Good old shows on at the same time were Seinfeld and X-files.

When this series was aired in Poland (under title "Przystanek Alaska" - "Sojourn Alaska") I was too little to understand that show, but I always used to watch intro. This moose made me laught, I don't know, why :D
