There are techniques where you don't need any substances. It takes longer, of course, and a lot of practice but the more you do it the easier and quicker it comes. Your bodies have absolutely everything you need to have these experiences, to heal, to visit other realms, to manifest the life you want, etc. The difference in doing it without any substances is that it involves a large amount of hard work. Drinking ayahuasca of course takes you there quicker (express train to other realities).
