would people recomend them? cos ive seen vids of people where it doesnt grip at all and is way too slipery and wont play. am i being really stupid? =s

I'm pretty sure that no one will trust me but I went to a concert yesterday. There was Dj premier, Q-Bert and black poet. Qj Q-bert gave me those slipmats and primo just signed it. I'm very lucky... (If you don't believe me I can send you a picture)

That's cool man... Could somebody explain what the difference between slipmats is? I am going to get me some turntables, but I've never understood the difference of the slipmats other than they're pretty cool sometimes hehe

diffrent thickness. some slip a bit better.

I got the butter rugs and I like how they feel compared to the wax paper and thick slipmat... mine don't have icing though.

have had plastic underneath my mats since '99 Works just the same.... prolly even slicker actually.
