I had the honor of seeing the Hoodoo Gurus in '91 at the Gothic Theater in Denver. Whenever I want to "flashback" to my college days, I just pull out Stone Age Romeos or Mars Needs Guitars, pop it on the turn table and transport back to those simpler times.

I was given an album (remember them) years ago by a mate who didn't really like them. I've been mtb riding in the middle of no where and i'm sure i'm faster with the HG's on the headphones

i thought the song was about trying to find a scene that fits your needs and could identify with that question at the time. you can't say what a song is about unless your hear the artist state what the song was about AT the time it was out.

i absolutely loved this song when it was out fall 1987, loved it so much went out and bought the album. they should have made a serious video though.

Excellent band,one of the best Aussie acts ever and yes, I agree,good comedians too.They never took themselves too seriously.They have extremely good taste in guitars,too.The Gurus are great.Plain and simple.
