Because the main point is always success and how well-known your name is... yyyyyeah. Old Chester reminds me of Jon Bon Jovi.. trying to write some powerful, ballad-like melody every song.. that in itself is disgusting. They're both mediocre, Chester just more so. You need to start getting real, man.

I would not even grace Nyho.. with a response especially when attempting to compare Linkin Park(what do they sing by the way) with TOOL. I can promise you that TOOL's goals as a band and LP's differ quite a lot. If TOOL wanted the record sales like that, then trust me, they have talented enough musicians to create some bullshit album for main-stream assholes to buy.

TOOL is going to go down for one of the most intelligent art-rock bands of all time. Right next to bands like Pink Floyd, and King Crimson. We need more bands like them, i'm not going to tell you what is music and whats not. But people need to discover sum' soul searching and fuckin' dig a littel deeper in the art work and music that TOOL creates. Unlike the person talking about Justin (bass player for tool) about how he does'nt turn around and face the audience. (THINK ABOUT IT HMMMM.)

you do realise that tool despises the mainstream unlike linkin park who are and forever will be a teeny bopper band. of course they are going to win the popularity concert! luckly tool and many of their fans thinks that the whole thing is a bullshit waste of time. we laugh at you, your record sales and pretty much everything that you stand for. fuck you buddy.
