Olberman is nothing but a total, left wing liar....at 2:05 he says he was at the hospital for 10 hours before he was PERMITTED to leave...anybody who knows anything about hospitals/medical care and the law knows that you CANNOT be held against your will. I see his left wing support here. He is no journalist as has been evidenced by his behavior on MSNBC. They are a support network for Obama. Again...HE IS A LIAR...he was not HELD at a hospital.

Sorry bbmtge, but federal and state laws do stipulate that you CAN be held at a hospital against your will if you are suspected of harboring a contagious disease like TB or anthrax. I don't know about Olberman's case, but there is no doubt that you can be held. This has always been the case, as in the days when sanitoriums for TB and polio patients were set up. Just a year or so ago a young man with a virulent form of TB was promptly arrested and quarantined when authorities got involved.

Get your facts straight and stop commenting through opinion. What federal and state laws are you quoting??? Who enforces them??? "Always been the case"...another Bullshit dismissive statement. Further, the sanatoriums for polio had nothing to do with isolation...it had to do with care. You have no idea what you are talking about. He could have up and walked out if he had chosen. The hospital would have to contact CDC and then, authorities.

Further, not one person was quarantined after the anthrax attacks...not one...even though many lined up for antibiotics. Get your facts straight. In order to quarantine him, the hosptial would have to declare an exposure situation,contact CDC and the police. Further, in his case, they would need a court order. ASSHOLE!!!

Olbermann is the consummate journalist. He consistently displays the utmost in honesty and integrity. Many who claim to be a journalist would prefer dragging K. Olbermann to their pathetic level. The substantially inferior can either rise to the level of the competition or try and drag them down to FOX NEWS gutter level which is a complete and total disregard for reporting the truth.
